"I've always been able to jump. As a kid, I was constantly jumping up trying to reach stuff, no matter how high. The first time I dunked was after my eighth-grade season. That summer I grew about five inches in a couple of months and then started doing things that surprised even me -- like reverses and cocking the ball far back. I was 6'5", but I was so thin that my teammates called me Skinny Tayshaun Prince. I just kept lifting weights. Now I love running on the beach because it's a different challenge than doing stuff like carrying sandbags up a hill. And I love the serenity of being outside. My body is unusual in that my waist is really skinny, which makes buying jeans hard but jumping even easier. And you know what? I think I can get even more explosive."
