"I did a shoot for FHM eight years ago, and it's still one of the first images that comes up when you Google my name. Back then, I felt like I had to do it; I needed to get exposure for myself and the sport. That shoot was all about being sexy. But I wanted to do the Body Issue because it's more about power and strength. I've been snowboarding professionally for 10 years, and when you've done something that long, you need to focus on change. In the past year, I've started new workouts, cut out gluten, dairy, caffeine and alcohol, and even reinvented the way I snowboard. I competed in only five main events last year because I was trying to raise my level of riding, and I told myself the results wouldn't matter. But I'm a competitor, and my goals are to put these combos and tricks together and win contests. I want all of it now."
