In a sport where he is routinely tasked with returning 130 mph serves, contending with a 90 mph delivery off the bounce on a cricket pitch is nothing the five-time Grand Slam tennis singles champion can't handle. Djokovic not only is effective at punishing his opponents on return of serve, he has one of the best two-handed backhands in tennis -- if not the best. His footwork on the shot demonstrates the effectiveness he would have at punching drives off both his front and back feet with a cricket bat in his hand, not to mention an effective cut shot. -- Peter Della Penna
