Rise: He led the nation with 28.1 ppg in his junior season, helped Gonzaga to the Sweet 16 in the 2006 tournament and was selected third overall in the 2006 NBA draft.

Fall: He warmed the bench on two Lakers championship teams, never averaged more than 4.5 ppg after his rookie year and was out of the league after the 2010 season.

The latest: He played in Serbia and Turkey after falling out of the NBA and attempted an NBA comeback by playing with the Nets and Clippers summer-league teams in 2012 but remains out of the league.
