The Venice art, surf and skate community came together for an art auction to benefit the Venice Family Clinic Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica, Calif. The silent auction featured artwork by 85 artists including photographer Craig Stecyk III, painter Kevin Ancell, skateboarders Pat Ngoho, Steve Olson and Lance Mountain, surfer Ned Evans and more. It also marks the 50th anniversary of the film "Endless Summer" with an original poster signed by the film's director, Bruce Brown, and the graphic artist who originated the iconic image, John Van Hamersveld.
The show's curator Robert Havassy said, "With this being a Venice-centric deal, it was like, 'How many of my friends and my friends' friends and favorite artists can I get to do this?'" Fortunately, Havassy pulled in Zephyr's own Jeff Ho, Venice royalty and a massive part of surfing and skateboarding's history.
