Player of the Game: Philip Rivers

Down 14-6 heading into the fourth quarter, Darren McFadden took off for a 69-yard touchdown to draw the Raiders within a point of their AFC West rival. But Philip Rivers was having none of that, coming right back to engineer back-to-back scoring drives for the Chargers to help them beat down the Silver and Black 24-20.

Rivers completed only 16 passes for 172 yards, but he put in work to close the game, hitting first down after first down to move the chains and keep the clock ticking down to its final seconds.

The Raiders managed to score a last-minute touchdown, but it was too little, too late, as the Chargers recovered the ensuing onside kick to hold on to the four-point victory.
