INDIANAPOLIS -- You knew it was only a matter of time before Colts owner Jim Irsay went to his favorite avenue -- Twitter -- to voice his frustration over his team's play the past few weeks.

And just like clockwork, Irsay took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, less than 48 hours after his team was blown out 40-11 by the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

7-4,2 game lead,5 to go with our injurIes n schedule is something we'd take 3 months ago/But the play n last 10 out of 12 quarters-ALARMING

— Jim Irsay (@JimIrsay) November 26, 2013

He followed that up with four more tweets, including the following:

Must find a way 2 win Division,no excuses,no explanations..hide weaknesses,accent strengthens/We gotta get our heads out of r butts-WAKE UP!

— Jim Irsay (@JimIrsay) November 26, 2013

His rant ended on a hopeful note, vowing that the team will get its issues resolved.

We'll close ranks n stick together n BELIEVE! We'll get it fixed n earn our Div/Camp Hats/Failure is not an option!! How Bad Do WE Want It!

The Colts (7-4) have lost two of their past three games by at least 29 points and needed to come from 11 points down at halftime to beat the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 14. They've been outscored 93-12 in the first half of their past four games.

The Colts, who have lost five players, including veteran receiver Reggie Wayne, to season-ending injuries, lead the Titans (5-6) by two games for first place in the AFC South. The teams meet Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Irsay is turning into a modern-day George Steinbrenner by publicly voicing his displeasure with his team's play. The late New York Yankees owner often used the media to criticize his players and managers. Irsay is doing it through Twitter.

Irsay tweeted that the Colts had a "crap performance" and he gave his "commanders" an "earful" after the Buffalo Bills beat them by 24 points in a preseason game in August. He took to Twitter again after their 30-point loss to the St. Louis Rams in Week 10, tweeting they had another "crap performance" and he was "angry and pissed off."
