Most weeks, running for a franchise-best 217 yards and two touchdowns in a blizzard would be enough to clinch the top spot in the Cross-Sport Power Rankings and Eagles running back LeSean McCoy would be our winner.
But this was not most weeks.
With a spot in the BCS National Championship Game on the line, Auburn's Tre Mason rushed for 304 yards and four touchdowns as the Tigers beat Missouri in the SEC championship game. That amazing performance makes Mason our Cross-Sport Power Rankings winner, leaving McCoy a hard-luck second. But he's first in the hearts of any fantasy football player who had him on the starting roster this past week.
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston placed third in the rankings for his efforts in the ACC championship game, followed by a pair of Denver Broncos: Matt Prater, whose 64-yard field goal broke a 43-year-old NFL record, and Peyton Manning, who continued his assault on the league record book with another four TD throws.
