Oregon State's Brandin Cooks, the nation's leading receiver, plans to announce that he will enter the NFL draft, a source said Tuesday.

The 5-foot-10, 186-pound Cooks had 128 catches for 1,730 yards and 16 touchdowns this season. He also ran for two more touchdowns.

Cooks, one of the nation's most explosive players, is projected as a second-round draft choice by ESPN draft expert Todd McShay, and also by an NFL Draft Advisory Committee.
