SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The San Francisco 49ers are still practicing without cornerback Carlos Rogers.
He was not on the field Wednesday during the time the media was allowed to watch practice. Rogers missed the 49ers' wild-card win at Green Bay because of a hamstring injury suffered in Week 17.
Rogers told reporters Tuesday he was hopeful of playing in the divisional round game at Carolina on Sunday. He said he resumed running this week.
49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Wednesday the team was healthy overall. When asked about Rogers, Harbaugh said the cornerback is still healing.
Rogers' nickel cornerback role was taken by Perrish Cox in Green Bay. Cox played nearly the entire game just six days after being re-signed by the 49ers.
Eric Wright will also be available to play at Carolina if Rogers cannot.
