Trade rumors have swirled around Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller dating back to last summer, but Ducks general manager Bob Murray wants to make one thing clear: The Swiss netminder is staying put.
"There's not a chance in hell that I'm moving Jonas Hiller," Murray told ESPN.com on Tuesday evening. "I'm tired of hearing about the rumors. I can tell you Jonas is not going anywhere."
With the Ducks in first place overall atop the NHL standings, it makes no sense to move the six-year veteran, despite the fact he's a pending unrestricted free agent.
Why rock the boat? Hiller is tied for second in the league in wins, having prevailed in 23 of the 32 games he's played in this season and recording three shutouts.
