Police are investigating after a woman complained she was sold fraudulent tickets to Kentucky's game against Texas A&M on Tuesday, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.
The woman, who said she bought the tickets from a secondary seller, was denied access to the game after learning the tickets were fake.
A Lexington police spokeswoman told the newspaper that authorities had received multiple calls and read about other fake tickets on social media in regards to other games.
A Kentucky spokesperson encouraged fans to buy tickets directly through the university ticket office or Ticketmaster, which on Thursday morning had no tickets available for Saturday's game against Georgia.
