Luol Deng out with flu-like symptoms

Associated Press

WASHINGTON -- Cleveland Cavaliers forward Luol Deng was a late scratch from Friday night's game against the Washington Wizards because of flu-like symptoms.

Deng, who was acquired by Cleveland from Chicago on Jan. 7, is the team's second-leading scorer with 15.3 points per game in 14 games since the trade.

Kyrie Irving, the Cavaliers' leading scorer, missed Friday's shootaround because of illness, but he is in the starting lineup.
