Duke sophomore point guard Alexis Jones will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee, the school announced Monday.
An MRI on Monday confirmed the injury. Jones, who suffered the injury in Sunday's 81-70 loss at Notre Dame, is scheduled to have surgery on Thursday.
Jones is the second point guard Duke has lost to a season-ending injury. In mid-January, All-American senior Chelsea Gray was sidelined for the second consecutive season with a knee injury.
Jones was averaging 13.1 points, 5.3 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals for Duke.
