Former Alabama offensive lineman Chad Lindsay is expected to join Ohio State for the 2014 season, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Lindsay, who started four games for the Crimson Tide last season, will be eligible to play immediately because he graduated from Alabama. Ohio State, which lost four starting offensive linemen from the 2013 season, likely will use Lindsay at center this fall. first reported Lindsay's move to Ohio State. Lindsay told the website in a text message, "It's done. Go Buckeyes!"

Lindsay, a native of The Woodlands, Texas, also considered Michigan, Louisville, Cal and Oklahoma. He played as a reserve for Alabama in 2011 and 2012 before moving into the starting lineup midway through last season.
