Max exemptions for Brooks Koepka news services

American Brooks Koepka accepted special temporary membership status on the PGA Tour, allowing him unlimited sponsor exemptions for the rest of the 2013-14 season.

He earned the necessary FedEx Cup points after a T-21 finish in last week's Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Koepka Monday-qualified for the tournament after exhausting his maximum of seven sponsor exemptions in a season allowed to non-PGA Tour members.

Koepka, a former All-American at Florida State, is a member of the European Tour after winning three events in the Challenge Tour -- the equivalent of the Tour -- in 2013.

He is ranked 80th in the Official World Golf Ranking and has earned $460,687 on the PGA Tour this season.
