The Tampa Bay Lightning have locked up the other half of their talented rookie duo, signing left wing Ondrej Palat to a three-year contract, the team announced Monday.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but a source told ESPN's Pierre LeBrun that it was for a total of $10 million -- with $2.8 million in 2014-15, $3.2 million in 2015-16 and $4 million in the final season.
The Lightning had signed rookie center Tyler Johnson to the same three-year contract on May 23.
Palat and Johnson -- as well as Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche -- are finalists for the Calder Trophy, given to the league's top rookie.
Palat had 23 goals -- just one behind Johnson's rookie team-record -- and had 36 assists this past season. He finished plus-32 for the season.
