Devo continues grand slam tear
PITTSBURGH -- Devon White of the Milwaukee Brewers hit his
third grand slam since May 10 in the fourth inning against
Pittsburgh on Sunday.
White hit an 0-1 pitch from reliever Terry Mulholland into the
left field stands, giving the Brewers a 7-0 lead. Pirates starter
Don Wengert had loaded the bases before Mulholland came on to face
White also hit a grand slam Tuesday at Philadelphia and another
May 10 against the Chicago Cubs. He now has 11 career grand slams.
