Category: Fumble Lost
Abbreviation: FL
Description: Ball that is dropped while in play, becoming a loss of player possession. Opposing team recovers the ball.
Example: Miami RB Ricky Williams takes a handoff from QB Jay Fiedler. Dallas defender Roy Williams tackles Williams and knocks the ball out before Williams is down. Dallas LB Dat Nguyen recovers the ball. Williams is given a fumble.

Category: Kickoff Return Yards
Abbreviation: KRY
Description: The amount of yards accrued by a player after receiving a kickoff from the opponent.
Example: Washington's Chad Morton is positioned to receive a kickoff from Miami's Olindo Mare. Mare kicks the ball; Morton receives it at the Redskins' 5-yard line and returns it to the Redskins' 35-yard line before being tackled by a Miami defender. Morton is credited with 30 kickoff return yards, the total distance between the Redskins' 5-yard line and 35-yard line.

Description: The amount of yards accrued by a player after receiving a punt from the opponent.
