Fiore to have surgery on sore right knee
ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins guard Dave Fiore will
have surgery Friday on his sore right knee.
Fiore, who has missed three straight games, hopes to miss just
two more and return Nov. 9 against Seattle. The soreness is a
lingering effect from Fiore's season-ending knee injury a year ago
while with San Francisco.
Fiore signed a four-year, $6.5 million contract with the
Redskins in the offseason. Rookie Derrick Dockery has been starting
in his place.
