The Chiefs decided to kick the ball off with just under 4:30 remaining and trailing by seven. Their defense hadn't stopped the Colts all day and it didn't on the final drive, with Indy running the clock down to eight seconds. Peyton Manning. Another flawless game from Manning who has completed 44 of 56 passes for 681 yards and eight TDs in two playoff games.

Drew Bennett couldn't come up with Steve McNair's desperation heave on fourth-and-12 with just over 1:30 left. Bennett had a shot at the ball but it bounced off his hands and then he was hit by Asante Samuel. Brady. Adam Vinatieri made the winning kick, but it was Brady who completed the fourth-and-three pass to Troy Brown to get the Pats into field goal range.

Jake Delhomme hit Steve Smith on a 69-yard TD pass on the first play of the second OT. Smith caught and beat safety Jason Sehorn and ran untouched into the end zone. Smith. Delhomme was good and seems to find a way to win, but Smith is emerging as a star. In two playoff games he's caught 11 passes for 298 yards and two TDs.
