Gators land top offensive lineman

Super Prospect offensive lineman Phil Trautwein of Voorhees-Eastern Regional, NJ., pledged to the Florida Gators over Virginia, Boston College, Michigan State and Tennessee, among many others. The Gators recently gained Top 150 linebacker Brandon Siler of Orlando-Evans, Fla., over Tennesse and Maryland, among many others.

Rutgers has a commitment from Super Prospect offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah of Edison-JP Stevens, NJ., over Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Maryland and Iowa. The Scarlet Knights recently gained running back Jean Beljour of Hackensack, NJ., over Syracuse and UConn; and offensive lineman Cory Hyman of Fort Lauderdale-North Lauderdale Academy, Fla.

The Oklahoma Sooners have pledged Top 150 defensive back Marcus Walker of Waco, Tex., over Florida State, LSU, Arkansas and Texas A&M.

Super Prospect defensive lineman Xavier Mitchell of Long Beach, Miss., decided on Tennessee over Mississippi. Among many others were Arizona State, LSU and Southern Mississippi.

Andrew Pettes, a Super Prospect tight end from Phoenix-Moon Valley, Ariz., has committed to Arizona State over Oregon and Washington State. The Sun Devils recently gained the nation's top tight end, Zach Miller of Phoenix-Desert Vista, Ariz., over Miami-Florida, Oklahoma, Tennessee and UCLA, among many others.

Top 150 running back Darius Walker of Buford, Ga., has announced for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish over Alabama, Stanford, Ohio State and Arkansas. He rushed for 2406 yards and 46 touchdowns as a senior. Notre Dame recently gained quarterback David Wolke of Smyrna, Tenn., over interest from Kentucky, Wake Forest, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Boise State, Nebraska and Vanderbilt.

Receiver Miles Williams of Youngstown-Fitch, Ohio, decommitted from Ohio State to Michigan State.

The Minnesota Gophers have pledged linebacker Lester Graham of Fort Pierce-John Carroll, Fla., over Kansas State, Iowa and East Carolina.

Texas Tech has pledged defensive back Anthony Hines of Denison, Tex.

Duke pledged receiver Jomar Wright of Duncan-Byrnes, SC., over Kentucky and Wake Forest.

Georgia Tech pledged running back defensive back Drew Gause of Spring, Tex; and defensive back Djay Jones of Kingsland-Camden County, Ga. The Yellow Jackets recently gained offensive lineman Kieran Delaney of Avon-Old Farms, Conn; and tight end Jonathan Morrison of Marietta, Ga.

South Carolina has quarterback Antonio Heffner of Memphis-Melrose, Tenn., over Kentucky, Louisville and Memphis; and running back Antonio Lamar of Snellville-Brookwod, Ga., over Maryland and Mississippi State. The Gamecocks recently gained offensive lineman Josh Winchell of Southhaven, Miss., over Memphis, Mississippi, Nebraska, Michigan and Mississippi State; and running back/defensive back Albert Ashcraft of Monroe, NC., over Clemson.

Mississippi State pledged running back Brandon Thornton of Homewood, Ala., over UAB.

Vanderbilt has pledged defensive lineman Theo Horrocks of Fayetteville-Lincoln County, Tenn. The Commodores recently gained running back Zach Logan of Wilson-Rivercrest, Ark., over Arkansas, Memphis and Arkansas State.

Running back George Stripling of Jacksonville-Jackson, Fla., and defensive lineman Adrian Grady of Douglas-Coffee County, Ga., have announced for Louisville. The Cards recently gained Top 150 quarterback Brian Brohm of Louisville-Trinity, Kty., over Kentucky, Tennessee and Notre Dame ESPN Brohm Chat; defensive linemen Brandon Cox of Atlanta-Douglass, Ga; and Devin Shivers of Monroe-George Walton Academy, Ga.

Tight end Craig Gelhardt of Tallahassee-Lincoln, Fla., is among six recent commitments for Tulane.
