Trojans, 'Canes make key additions

Michigan State has Top 150 offensive lineman Roland Martin of Chicago-Harper, Ill., over Tennessee, Oklahoma and North Carolina State; and receiver Carl Grimes of Detroit-DePorres, Mich., who had committed to Florida State.

Notre Dame has Top 150 defensive back Terrail Lambert of Oxnard-St. Bonaventure, Cal., and receiver Chris Vaughn of Oakdale-St. Thomas More, Conn.

The USC Trojans have gained Top 150 quarterback Rocky Hinds of Play Del Rey-St. Bernard, Cal., over Nebraska, Arizona State, California and UCLA; Top 150 receiver Derrick Jones of Long Beach-Poly, Cal; Top 150 defensive lineman/linebacker Eugene Germany of Pomona, Cal., over Michigan; and Top 150 receiver Dwayne Jarrett of New Brunswick, NJ., over Ohio State and Virginia. Among others were Iowa and Pittsburgh.

Miami-Florida has Top 150 defensive lineman Rhyan Anderson of Oak Creek, Wis., over Oklahoma, Florida, Ohio State, Southern California; Top 150 linebacker Willie Williams of Miami-Carol City, Fla., over Florida and Florida State; Top 150 linebacker James Bryant of Reading, Pa., over Pittsburgh, Florida and Ohio State; and Top 150 running back Andrew Johnson of Pittsburgh-North Hills, Pa., who decommitted from Pittsburgh.

North Carolina State added Top 150 defensive lineman DeMario Pressley of Greensboro-Dudley, NC., over Florida State and North Carolina; and defensive lineman Willie Young of Palm Beach-Gardens, Fla., over Florida and Ohio State. The Wolfpack recently gained tight end Anthony Hill of Hargrave MA, Va., over Mississippi State, Clemson and North Carolina; defensive back Jeremy Gray of Opelika, Ala., over Auburn and Mississippi State.

Washington State has Top 150 receiver Michael Bumphus of Culver City, Cal., who had been committed to Southern California.
