Trojans, Ducks land top receivers

Top 150 receiver Lavelle Hawkins of Stockton-Edison, Cal., has signed with the LSU Tigers. The Tigers also gained tight end Jeremy Jones of Harvey-West Jefferson, La.

The Florida State Seminoles have Top 150 defensive back Tony Carter of Jacksonville-Mandarin, Fla; Top 150 defensive back J.R. Bryant of Miami-Killian, Fla., over Miami-Florida and Florida; defensive back Joe Manning of Tallahassee-Lincoln, Fla; and Super Prospect defensive lineman Emmanual Dunbar of Deerfield Beach, Fla., over Oklahoma. The Seminoles recently gained Top 150 linebackers Rodney Gallon of Tallahassee-Lincoln, Fla; Jae Thaxton of Hartwell-Hart County, Ga; and Lawrence Timmons of Florence-Wilson, SC.

Georgia gained Top 150 defensive lineman Brandon Miller of Coquitt-Miller County, Ga., over Florida State, Georgia Tech and Florida.

Mississippi State added Top 150 linebacker Rory Johnson of Vicksburg, Miss., over Mississippi, Southern Mississippi and Nebraska.

Boston College has added Top 150 linebacker/running back Brian Toal of Ramsey-Don Bosco, NJ., over Miami-Florida and Tennessee.

Oregon snared Top 150 receiver Cameron Colvin of Concord-De La Salle, Cal., over USC and Michigan. The Ducks also gained defensive lineman Micah Howeth of Dallas-White, Tex., who decommitted from Kansas State.

West Virginia has quarterback/athlete Pat White of Mobile-Daphne, Ala.

Georgia Tech gained defensive lineman Darrell Robertson of Jonesboro, Ga., who decommitted from Florida State.

Arkansas gained offensive lineman Ryan Young of Waco-University, Tex; tight end Marc Winston of Little Rock-Parkview, Ark., and defensive lineman Fred Bledsoe of Little Rock-Central, Ark.
