ESPN X Games returns to Providence on June 26th for "Rhode Island's Reunion X", a one-night celebration of action sports.

Tickets go on sale June 4 for this 10th anniversary event featuring exhibitions by top action sports athletes, including Tony Hawk and Dave Mirra, plus a live performance by The Darkness.

Two classes of tickets will be available: $75 meet-and-greet tickets and $30 regular tickets.

ESPN X Games, in conjunction with the Rhode Island Sports Council and Clear Channel Entertainment today announces "Rhode Island's Reunion X," a one-night event at Providence's Dunkin Donuts Center on June 26 that will celebrate the progression of action sports and the growth of the X Games over the past decade.

Rhode Island's Reunion X will air Saturday, July 3rd at 1:30 a.m. Eastern on ESPN2.

The first two X Games events were held in Providence and Newport in 1995 and 1996. Since then, the X Games has grown to become the world's premiere action sports competition. The special event was conceived by ESPN and the Sports Council to recognize the athletes who have grown the event and the event's genesis in Rhode Island.

The evening will include live exhibitions by several top X Games athletes, including world-class skateboarder Tony Hawk, Rhode Island's own bike stunt rider Kevin Robinson; and aggressive inline skating star Fabiola da Silva, as well as a live performance by the rock band The Darkness.

Large screen videos will take fans back to memorable moments throughout X Games history, including classic footage from X Games I and II in Rhode Island.

The live exhibitions in skateboard, bike stunt and aggressive inine skate will display the world-class abilities of the athletes on a 75-foot halfpipe. Fans will also be treated to a Moto X freestyle ramp-to-ramp demonstration. All athletes participating are either current or former X Games medallists and all but the Moto X athletes competed in the Rhode Island X Games events. Athletes scheduled to participate include:

Tony Hawk - Now retired world-class skateboard legend with 10 X Games gold medals.

Dave Mirra - The most decorated Bike Stunt rider in X Games history, Mirra has 16 medals, 11 of them gold.

Kevin Robinson - From East Providence, R.I., Robinson is the X Games IX bronze medallist in Bike Stunt Vert and is the first ever X Games hometown hero.

Bob Burnquist - This Vert skateboarder has competed in every X Games since its inception and boasts nine podium finishes.

Fabiola da Silva - The most decorated female athlete in X Games history (seven gold medals), this Aggressive In-line Skater competes alongside the men in the Vert competitions at X Games.

Carey Hart - One of the most popular Moto X freestyle athletes in the industry, Hart was the first athlete to attempt a backflip in competition.

Mat Hoffman - The undisputed best Vert rider in Bike Stunt history, this now retired competitor returns to Providence to celebrate where the X Games started.

This is the only event this year that will feature such a lineup of action sports greats. X Games' on-air host Sal Masekela will emcee the evening.

The celebration will conclude with a special 50-minute performance by the rock band The Darkness, presented by WHJY Radio of Providence. This performance will be the last of The Darkness' sold-out U.S. tour.
