Guerrero, Rodriguez leave game with injuries

Associated Press

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Los Angeles Angels slugger Vladimir Guerrero and Detroit Tigers catcher Ivan Rodriguez left their game Thursday night with injuries. Guerrero left the game with jammed left shoulder.

Guerrero homered twice, including a two-run shot in the first inning, before being replaced by pinch-hitter Jeff DaVanon in the sixth.

Rodriguez left in the fifth because of a right hamstring spasm. Rodriguez was replaced in the fifth inning by pinch-hitter Vance Wilson, who doubled to drive in one of Detroit's four runs in the inning.

Rodriguez, who struck out and walked, is day-to-day.
