Pacers' Harrison suspended for swearing at fans
NEW YORK -- The Indiana Pacers lost more than the game at Detroit on Thursday.
Center David Harrison was suspended one game without pay for
directing obscenities toward fans, NBA senior vice president of
basketball operations Stu Jackson announced Friday.
The incident occurred with 10:07 remaining in the fourth period
of Indiana's 88-83 loss to Detroit at the Palace of Auburn
Hills. Harrison will serve his suspension Friday when the
Pacers play the Atlanta Hawks at Conseco Fieldhouse.
A 7-footer out of Colorado, Harrison has played in 42 games this
season and is averaging 4.9 points and 3.6 rebounds.
