If you are looking for a track that truly tests a driver's skill, look no further than Infineon Raceway in the scenic Sonoma Valley of Northern California. It is one of just two road courses on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule, with the Toyota/Save Mart 350 set for June 26.

Jimmie Johnson earned his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series road-course victory when he took the checkered flag at Infineon Raceway in 2010. Johnson was the sixth different winner in six years in Sonoma, and the third consecutive driver to claim his first Sprint Cup Series road-course victory.

The beauty of the road course is its unpredictability, with many drivers capable of taking the checkers.

For those looking to combine their race weekend with pleasure, the Sonoma Valley is one of the top wine-producing regions in the world. Meanwhile, the World Series champion Giants play in San Francisco over race weekend against the Cleveland Indians and are a short drive away if you want to make it a two-sport adventure.
