Young buck runs through Ind. movie store
Jan. 13, 2006
EVANSVILLE, Ind. Chances are the young, 3-foot-tall buck sporting short antlers that broke through a plate-glass window and ran rampant through a movie-rental store here wasn't looking for the 1970s classic "The Deer Hunter."
After breaking through the window, the deer ran around the perimeter of the store kicking displays and knocking movies off shelves, according to Associated Press reports.

Mike Sulawske, a nearby shopper, propped the backdoor of the store open and tried to corral the deer outside, according to the Times. The buck had other ideas and charged Sulawske, broke through another, larger window and fled before police arrived. He was last seen running south on a city street, leaping over cars.
No word on whether his account would be charged for damages or late fees.
