NEW YORK -- Indiana's Tamika Catchings leads the Eastern Conference and Seattle's Sue Bird tops the Western Conference in early WNBA All-Star balloting.

Houston's Sheryl Swoopes, Seattle's Lauren Jackson and Los Angeles' Lisa Leslie round out the top five vote-getters across the league.

The WNBA All-Star game will be held July 12 at Madison Square Garden and televised on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET.

Starters for the All-Star game will be determined by arena and online fan balloting that ends Sunday.

The starters will be announced on July 5. Reserves will be selected by the conference coaches.
