Chiefs make late addition, add Bragg to roster

Associated Press

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs signed defensive back Michael Bragg from the practice squad Friday, a day before their AFC playoff game at Indianapolis.

Bragg, a second-year player out of Texas A&M-Kingsville, signed a three-year contract. Terms were not disclosed.

He spent four weeks on Kansas City's 53-man roster midway through the season, before being released and signed to the practice squad. Bragg will likely replace reserve cornerback Benny Sapp, who did not practice on Thursday because of a sore hamstring.
