Indiana not just a basketball state

Select another state:

Indiana: No. 20 pro | No. 17 college | No. 26 high school

By Shaun Pechin
I believe that Indiana should move up to at least top 15. Even though it is traditionally thought of as a basketball hotbed, football has taken the state by storm.

With high schools spending more on football every year and colleges like Purdue and Notre Dame attracting good talent, it is time to perhaps start thinking outside the gym.

Indiana also has a great professional team in the Colts. While Super Bowl trophies do not yet line the halls, the team has made strides that make it quite obvious that Indianapolis wants to play on the big stage in the NFL.
