On Tuesday, Allen Iverson became the fourth Western Conference player to drop out of this weekend's NBA All-Star Game because of injury; he joins Steve Nash, Yao Ming and Carlos Boozer. That will be the most players ever from one conference to be selected but not play in an NBA All-Star Game. The previous high was three from the West in 1997 (Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler and Shaquille O'Neal) and three from the East in 2001 (Grant Hill, Alonzo Mourning and Theo Ratliff).
