MINNEAPOLIS -- Funeral arrangements have been set for Todd L. Bachman, the Minnesota man killed in a Beijing attack this month that also left his wife seriously hurt.

The visitation is scheduled for Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Friday at Christiania Lutheran Church in Lakeville.

The 62-year-old Bachman was the chairman and chief executive of Bachman's Incorporated, a family-owned florist and garden center.

His wife Barbara suffered serious stab wounds in the Aug. 9 attack. Their adult daughter was unharmed by the attacker, who killed himself.

Barbara Bachman's son-in-law is Hugh McCutcheon, the U.S. men's Olympic volleyball coach. He says his mother-in-law continues to improve and has been following his team's success as she recovers at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. The U.S. team plays Brazil for the Olympic gold on Sunday, the final day of the Beijing Games.
