PeeTee in Pink

PeeTee in pink.
Here's surfing's very first world champ, Pete "PT" Townend recently on the North Shore. One can only wonder if PT would have been able to "bust down the door," in the 1970s with Ian Cairns and MR, if he was wearing these hot trunks. Actually, the guy always had a thing for pink boards and trunks. Just not sure if they were quite as loud as these.

The shorts are part of the line of threads from Rhythm, the new style outfitter from Burleigh Heads, AUS. PT's very talented son, Jye Townend, is heading up US operations, taking care of marketing here in the states.

"The product is insane and gives a really a new fresh look to surf apparel," says Jye.

Rhythm already has Kieren Perrow and Ryan Hipwood sporting the threads, as well as surfer/artist/musician Neal Purchase Jr, Adam Bennetts and loggers Jai Lee and Harrison Roach.

Also, the Bustin' Down the Door DVD (complete with 32-page book) is now available here for $34.95.
