JAKE THOMPSON

DAVISON FOOTBALL

Sophomores don't often get handed the reins of an offense, especially at something as complex as the quarterback position, except in extraordinary circumstances. Then again, the year Thompson had might well qualify as extraordinary. The sophomore signal caller threw for nearly 2,000 yards and ran for almost 900 more while leading his team to the Division 2 state semifinals. Thompson was named the Flint Journal's Player of the Year.

JORDAN LADUKE

FLUSHING GIRLS' BASKETBALL
