96-100:Five-star prospect
Player demonstrates rare abilities and intangibles. She should have an immediate impact at a national program and be a potential Olympian with All-Conference and All-American potential. Tina Charles, Jayne Appel, Brittainey Raven, Maya Moore, Candace Parker and Angel McCoughtry are all examples of prospects in this range.

91-95: Four-star prospect
Player has the potential to significantly contribute as a freshman for most national programs and should make an immediate impact. Player could start multiple years for a NCAA tournament-caliber team and should contribute as a freshman. Players in this range could also be big-time feature players in most mid-major programs.

83-90: Three-star prospect
Player has the ability to contribute immediately to a smaller conference school or be a career role player for a national program. Player may start three or four years at most mid-major level programs.

75-82: Two-star prospect
Player could contribute to most smaller conference programs for several seasons. Player has the ability to start two or more years in most programs. Player could be role player for some NCAA tournament teams.

60-74: One-star prospect
Player could be a Division I prospect or a highly successful Division II or III player. Player shows some of the tools needed to compete at the Division I level but may have a better experience in a smaller division program.
