MATT DAVIDSON
The USC-bound Davidson was an Aflac All-American
last summer after hitting .329 with seven homers as a
junior. He's the No. 13 recruit in the ESPNU rankings
thanks in large part to his prodigious power.
JIOVANNI MIER
Rated the No. 15 recruit in the ESPNU rankings,
Mier hit .479 with three homers, 30 RBIs and 15
steals last year. He has signed with USC but could
be an early-round pick in the upcoming MLB Draft.
MATT HOBGOOD
Hobgood earned Los Angeles Times Player of the Year
honors as a junior after going 10-0 with a 1.84 ERA on
the mound and hitting .489 with 15 homers and 45
RBIs. He has inked with Cal State Fullerton.
TYLER SKAGGS
Rated the No. 9 recruit in the ESPNU rankings,
Skaggs is a dominant southpaw who has signed
with Cal State Fullerton. As a junior, he was unhittable,
posting a 1.09 ERA.

AN AREA COACH ON DAVID NICK:
"Offensively, he's got a real nice, compact
swing. Defensively, he's got good range. He's
just a very smart player offensively and defensively
he really knows the game."
