Campillo has tendinitis in shoulder
ATLANTA -- Atlanta Braves reliever Jorge Campillo was put on the disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis.
Campillo gave up two hits and one run in the ninth inning of Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Florida Marlins. He was put on the 15-day DL after the game.
Campillo (1-0) has a 5.40 ERA and one blown save in four games. He made two starts for Mexico in the World Baseball Classic, and Braves manager Bobby Cox said the reliever hasn't been the same since then.
Right-hander James Parr will be recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett in time for Friday's game at Pittsburgh. Parr was 1-0 with a 4.84 ERA in five starts for Atlanta last season.
