Coyotes cut upper bowl tickets to $15

Associated Press

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Phoenix Coyotes have sold out their home opener Saturday night against Columbus.

The sellout is due largely to lowering all upper bowl ticket prices to $15.

The Coyotes, whose ownership is still the subject of bankruptcy proceedings, have made the event a "Welcome Back Whiteout" promotion. Everyone in attendance at the 18,000-seat Jobing.com Arena will receive white T-shirts and pompoms.

A few hundred standing room-only tickets remained on Friday.
