Garland's Jackson injured in All-American Bowl
Garland High School senior linebacker Tevin Jackson, a University of Texas commit, suffered a dislocated right wrist making a tackle during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday in San Antonio.
Jackson, a four-star recruit who is ranked 90th in the ESPNU 150, had pins inserted in the wrist after the game. He will be in a cast for six weeks.
In other area recruiting news, Plano West defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat, the nation's top prospect according to the ESPNU 150, will make a recruiting visit to the Florida Gators on Jan. 15, according to Gerry Hamilton of Scouts Inc.
Jeffcoat also is considering USC, Arizona State, Houston, Texas and Oklahoma.
