Before the Freeskiing World Tour blew into town and the winter storms blew outta town, photographer Grant Gunderson was all over the mountains around that town Revelstoke, British Columbia.
Last we heard from Gunderson, he'd already blown back to Bellingham, Wash., then back up to Mustang Powder in the Monashee's near Revelstoke. He filed these photos from the Revelstoke swing
and a teaser from Mustang, Day 1:
"After a late arrival with the MSP crew and a cold sled up in the dark with no goggles and still wearing blue jeans from the six hour drive from the coast, we awoke to a perfect bluebird pow day at Mustang Powder cats. Normally on a film/photo trip you pray that you get one sunny day, but we totally lucked out with a perfect conditions right from the start. Plus with a crew consisting of Henrik Windstedt, Rory Bushfield and James Heim, it's tough to go wrong... After being out well past dusk, we returned to the lodge to an amazing dinner followed by lots of Canadian beer. Hopefully the rest of the week goes this well!"
