DALLAS -- Dallas Stars right wing Jere Lehtinen was activated off injured reserve for Sunday's game against the Phoenix Coyotes.

The Stars, however, got some bad news when they lost center Brian Sutherby to an shoulder injury during the second period of a 4-2 loss.

Stars coach Marc Crawford said Sutherby's injury will be evaluated Monday.

Sutherby, 27, has six points (four goals, two assists) in 31 games this season. He's averaged 8:59 of ice time as a member of the fourth line when he's played. He's had back issues that have hampered his playing time, but he's also been a healthy scratch at times.

Lehtinen, a member of Finland's Olympic team, missed the previous six games with a neck injury.

The 36-year-old Lehtinen had three goals and eight assists in 32 games this season.
