Oney Guillen resigns from Sox

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen stormed past media representatives after Friday's Cubs-Sox game in Glendale, Ariz. It was the first time in anyone's recollection that Guillen didn't talk to media after a baseball game.
The apparent reason for Guillen's mood appears to be the resignation of his son, Oney, who was a scouting video technician for the club. ESPNChicago.com has learned that the younger Guillen resigned Friday after a story appeared in a Chicago publication about his Twitter account.
The story addressed how the younger Guillen continued to tweet after his father decided to stop using the social media site last week following a discussion about the matter with team officials.
According to a White Sox source, the younger Guillen was not forced to resign.
Guillen was a player in the Sox's organization briefly, reaching the Class A level.
General manager Kenny Williams sent a text message to White Sox beat reporters and said there was no need for comment on Oney Guillen's resignation.
