Ryan T. Hurley

Born on Staten Island and raised in Long Island, "The" Ryan T. Hurley started his radio career at Hofstra University's WRHU in the sports department with various duties, play by play man, color analyst and update anchor.

He chose sports radio and Hofstra after failing to live up to the expectations of many by filling brother Bobby's shoes with Coach K on the hardwood. While in college he was beaten to the punch with his idea for a trendy surf and skating clothes line which still haunts him today. In fact, it is one of the sole reasons wife Elizabeth decided to leave Ryan, but has kept his surname as she rocketed to Hollywood stardom with it.

After hitting the skids Ryan's famous uncle John O' greased some palms to get Ryan an internship at ESPN New York radio where he channeled his past upsets into a passion for radio greatness putting in countless hours of service earning him the position of executive producer.

These days you can hear a "Ryan T. Hurley production" in afternoon drive, better known as "The Michael Kay Show," Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.

Outside the studio Ryan enjoys relaxing at home with his beautiful wife Concetta and their Rottweiler Kane; hitting Shea, MSG or the couch to catch a game; cranking some STP, Beastie Boys, Wu-Tang (especially the GZA), Faith No More, Soundgarden or Queens of the Stone Age; watching Baseball Tonight, Three's Company, Seinfeld, The Simpsons & The Family Guy or "hangin out with the boys" he grew up with on Long Island.
