The dividing line
No, Haiti didn't make the World Cup this year. It hasn't qualified since its golden age in the early 1970s, when it fell one win short in 1970 and then qualified in 1974. But the World Cup is about more than just a tournament played every four years. It's about the sport of soccer. Wright Thompson traveled to Haiti, where the national soccer organization was devastated by the earthquake.
