POTD: Josh Suhre
Josh Suhre gap to grind to boost off in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This past weekend I ventured down to one of my favorite cities to shoot BMX, Cincinnati, Ohio. Cincy is filled with endless amounts of streets spots and good riders. I swear, every time I go down there I'm taken to a new epic spot. It's a photographer's paradise and this trip was no exception. I met up with We the People's, Josh Suhre and he took me to the University of Cincinnati to shoot on the infamous campus exercise up-rail. I've always wanted to shoot something on this thing and soon realized why it's not typically ridden that often. There are a couple things about this rail, that make it difficult to ride. One, you have to gap over some rubber mulch onto the rail (at full speed), which makes it pretty nuts. Secondly, from being gapped on to so much, it has some major dents in it which have slowed it down drastically. That didn't stop Josh Suhre though from coming through with a photo; he just had to put it on turbo blast, crank full speed and boosted the heck out of it.
