CHICAGO -- Hours before the start of free agency, the Chicago Bulls cleared two more players off their roster by waiving forwards Chris Richard and Rob Kurz on Wednesday.
Richard, 25, played in 18 games last season with the Bulls and averaged 2.1 points a game and 3.3 rebounds. He was drafted in the second round of the 2007 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves after playing at Florida with the Bulls' Joakim Noah.
Kurz, 25, did not play in a game for the Bulls after signing as a free agent in April. The Notre Dame product played in 40 games for the Golden State Warriors in the 2008-09 season.
