Michael Vick scores No. 1 spot

ESPN

The story on everyone's NFL mind these days is Michael Vick. Can you blame us? He's got the against-all-odds comeback story ... the intoxicating style of play ... the big-time numbers. He makes Jaguars and Lions games must-see TV. He makes fantasy football teams better (4 TDs, 291 YDS, 0 INTs Sunday). And he's led the Eagles to the top of the NFC East. Not bad for a player who was a Week 1 backup.

Therefore, our panel had no choice but to elect Vick as the most powerful player of the week. Rounding out the list are home run king Jose Bautista, Heisman hopeful Mark Ingram, hitting machine Ichiro Suzuki and rushing sensation Adrian Peterson.

Did the panel make the right decisions this week? See anyone who was placed way too high, unjustly low or whom we flat-out missed? Now is your chance to let us know below!

Our all-star ESPN panel: John Buccigross, Josh Elliott, Robert Flores, DJ Gallo, Jemele Hill, Dana Jacobson, Brian Kenny, Jeff MacGregor, Bram Weinstein and Trey Wingo.
