It's all relative for Meat Loaf, Ian

By Jim Wilkie
ESPN.com

The good news for Scott Ian is his Fear And Loathing came back to beat Zakk Wylde's Team Doom Crew Inc. 99-86 last week to become the only unbeaten team remaining in the Alice in Chains & Friends Fantasy Football Charity League.

The bad news is now Ian faces his father-in-law, Meat Loaf, in Week 4. So Ian is damned if he does win and damned if he doesn't against Hell In A Handbasket.

Here's Ian's post on the league message board on Tuesday:

Week 3, or 3-0
Scott Ian
Fear And Loathing

Doom Crew was tough. Looked like I was done until Aaron Rodgers came through for me (not enough for Packers fans, though) on Monday night. Good game, Zakk, see you in the postseason! Next up, Hell In A Hand Basket. Gonna be a tough one as well.

Meanwhile, Vinnie Paul has vowed to overhaul his Team Brickwall Brickwall after its 1-2 start. Paul dropped San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith in favor of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and picked up Denver Broncos running back Correll Buckhalter after he dumped the Redskins' defense.

Your boys finally got a win, Vinnie, and got me a win over you. Doesn't seem right, does it. Have to figure out what to do on the bye week now. I'm open to trade offers for a good receiver. Hope you're good out on the road. Just played Atlanta, on our way to St. Louis.

Participants in the Alice in Chains & Friends Fantasy Football Charity League will each put one valuable item up for auction by the end of the season. The league champion will get to designate which charity receives the proceeds of the auction. More details on the auction will be announced in the coming weeks.

Weekly updates on the Alice in Chains & Friends Fantasy Football Charity League, trash talk and interviews with the owners will be published on ESPN.com's The Life and Music sections throughout the season. Members of the league also will drop by for occasional chats on SportsNation.
